financial and scientific high performance computing market (Mechanical
Design Automation [MDA] in the markets Aerospace, Automotive and
Manufacturing; Electronic Design Automation [EDA]; Lifesciences;
etc.).
The profound knowledge covers Grid Computing, Grid Portal solutions,
collaborative workflow infrastructures, Distributed Resource
Management (DRM) including design of business critical
solutions deployed in financial markets, administration of complex

Altreia Solutions was founded by Dr. Karsten Gaier in 2003.
After finishing his PhD in Theoretical Astrophysics at the University
of Tübingen Dr. Karsten Gaier worked for several years at science +
computing AG, a leading provider of IT-Services and Software for the
technical computing market (e.g. Airbus, AUDI, BMW, DaimlerChrysler,
Infineon) in Germany, in IT-Services and software development and later
as sales manager for workload management software and manager of sales and
marketing.
